Day 01 – Arrival & Coastal Recovery Experience
Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport with meet-and-greet assistance before transferring to Negombo, Sri Lanka’s relaxed coastal town known for lagoons, fishing communities, and beachside charm. After settling in, enjoy a slow-paced evening with optional lagoon kayaking, cycling through coastal villages, or relaxing beside the waterfront. Day 02 – Rainforest Adventure Experience
Travel towards Kitulgala, Sri Lanka’s adventure capital, surrounded by lush forests, rivers, and mountain landscapes. Experience an exciting white-water rafting adventure along the Kelani River, followed by a jungle trek and waterfall swim surrounded by tropical rainforest. Day 03 – Into Sri Lanka’s Ancient Kingdoms
Continue through scenic countryside landscapes towards Sigiriya, located within Sri Lanka’s Cultural Triangle. After checking into your nature retreat, enjoy a relaxed sunset experience overlooking Sigiriya Rock Fortress and optional evening nature walks to discover local birdlife and wildlife. Day 04 – Ancient Fortress & Rural Exploration
Begin the morning with a sunrise climb of Sigiriya Rock Fortress, one of Sri Lanka’s most iconic UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Continue the adventure with optional Pidurangala Rock hiking and cycling through village paths, ancient reservoirs, and rural landscapes. Day 05 – Culture & Highland Transition
Travel towards Kandy through scenic countryside with a visit to the historic Dambulla Cave Temple. Continue to Kandy, Sri Lanka’s cultural capital, where travellers can explore local markets, hidden viewpoints, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere around Kandy Lake. Day 06 – Scenic Highland Railway Adventure
Transfer to Nanu Oya Railway Station through beautiful tea plantations and mountain scenery before boarding the iconic train journey to Ella. Day 07 – Mountain Adventures & Panoramic Views
Explore Ella’s natural beauty with a morning hike to Little Adam’s Peak. For more adventurous travellers, an extended hike to Ella Rock can be arranged. Day 08 – Wildlife Safari Adventure
Depart Ella towards Sri Lanka’s southern wilderness region with a scenic stop at Ravana Falls. Arrive at Yala National Park and enjoy an afternoon jeep safari searching for leopards, elephants, sloth bears, crocodiles, and diverse bird species. Safari Note: Leopard sightings are generally stronger from February–July, while elephants can be seen throughout the year. Overnight Stay: Leopard Trails Yala or similar luxury safari camp
Day 09 – Surf Coast & Rainforest Transition
Enjoy an optional early morning safari before travelling towards Weligama, one of Sri Lanka’s most popular surfing destinations. Experience a beginner-friendly surf session before continuing inland towards the Sinharaja rainforest region. Surf Note: Best surfing season: November–April. Day 10 – Final Nature Experience
Begin the day with a guided rainforest trek through Sinharaja Forest Reserve, a UNESCO World Heritage Site rich in endemic plants, birds, and wildlife. After the rainforest experience, transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport for departure.
